 Banana Bread


Ingredients:

  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • A pinch of salt
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 4x8-inch (10x20cm) loaf pan.

  2. In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork until smooth.

  3. Stir the melted butter into the mashed bananas.

  4. Mix in the baking soda and a pinch of salt. The mixture will bubble; that's okay.

  5. Stir in the granulated sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract.

  6. Gently fold in the all-purpose flour until the batter is just combined. Be careful not to overmix; it's okay if there are a few lumps.

  7. Pour the banana bread batter into the greased loaf pan.

  8. Bake in the preheated oven for about 60-65 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

  9. Let the banana bread cool in the pan for a few minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.

Your homemade banana bread is ready to slice and enjoy. It's perfect for breakfast, a snack, or dessert. You can also customize it by adding chopped nuts, chocolate chips, or other mix-ins if you like. Enjoy!
